This addition and renovation expands and modernizes the existing Health Centre with a 330 m² addition and a comprehensive renovation of the 374 m² original building.  It provides facilities for community health services, mental health services, maternal health services, dental care services, a home care program, and the National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program (NNADAP).  The project includes a new community health meeting room with community kitchen facilities.  The project provided full wheelchair accessibility for the entire facility.  The focal point of the addition is a new cultural room, whose form derives from the shape of a tipi, where traditional Indigenous ceremony and healing practices now take place.  WKA provided full design and construction contract administration services from feasibility study to completion.
